A Home Away from Home

Upon entering the room at Besso Lugano Center, I instantly felt a sense of comfort and familiarity. The spacious layout allowed me to move freely, and the cleanliness was impeccable. The bed provided a much-needed restful sleep after a long day of exploring.

Although the hotel was the most affordable option in the area, it did not compromise on the friendly and welcoming staff. They always greeted me with a smile and were ready to assist with any queries or requests.

Favourable location and overall the staff was extremely friendly and super-friendly. Took a walk around city center, located within a close distance from the hotel. The room was airy, had essentials, like a shower, hairdryers and a bidet...

This spot offers a brand-new and quite spacious room with air conditioning, a nice bathtub, and a stunning mountain view. The meals here are top-notch and the service is truly exceptional - the staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. 🌟

The hotel was a fantastic base for enjoying a nice enough area, very close to downtown sights and resturants as well as the train station and shopping. It was easy to get Wheelchair Accessible room with a bathtub and extra bed and a good size bathroom and that's great. The location was good - walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go.

Brand-new and reasonably large rooms with single queen size bed, decent condition, SUPERBLY FRIENDLY staff.

I recently stayed at Hotel Besso in Lugano for a long weekend getaway. The hotel is conveniently located near the train station, making it easy to explore the Ticino region. The staff at Besso Lugano were friendly and always available to assist. The room had a stunning view of the mountains and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and the wifi was fast. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the Ticino region.

appreciated my comfortable stay on my business trip. the hotel was set in a very central area just next door to the main lugano train station, the funicular and old town. it also was by the lake.

A short stroll into Lugano, use the funicular back as its uphill, the train station is only 5 mins away, and there is a nice restaurant just across the road, which serves good food and very friendly staff. The hotel is basic but good value and close to Lugano, which is beautiful.

Quick access to train station, helpful staff, late check-in available, decent buffet breakfast with colorful boiled eggs and warm coffee, good view from balcony.

Price was quite steep for what we got - buffet breakfast was pretty basic.And why when you ask for a double room can't you get a double bed? Don't like leaving the key in an area available to all patrons - not a good feeling of security
